Information
The two world petanque championships (women and juniors) will be held in Antalya from 17 to 23 October under the joint program.
They will receive the full support of political and administrative authorities and regional, particularly in the municipality of the city which will broadcast the competition on its Internet TV, and the Regional Association of Journalists.
ACCESS:
By plane, Antalya Airport is located about 50 km from Kemer, slightly less than an hour because you have to cross the city, then follow an excellent four-lane coastal road. The airport has two terminals: domestic and international.
Shuttles will take charge of the teams but we must, go for as for the return, that delegations give precise: the flight numbers, origin, times and the number of people.
CITY:
Kemer is a small town, nice resort very clean and lively, but also at the foot of the mountains. If it has miles of beaches, one can take a cable car to 20 kilometers up to 2365 meters, enough to cool at a rate of one degree every 180 meters.

ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD:
All delegations will be housed and fed in two hotels in the group "Rose" located across from each other: the Rose Resort Hotel Rose Residence Beach Hotel. However, the package will allow everyone, no matter where his room to enjoy the leisure facilities of both institutions, namely, among others: a private beach, four swimming pools including a water park, three restaurants, six or seven bars, entertainment ...
There are a total of 400 rooms, very comfortable, air conditioned with Wi-Fi, WC and bathroom, and the buffets are lavish and varied. They are currently between 700 and 800 people a day. If necessary, other hotels with the same conditions will be used for the championship.

The hotels are located 15 minutes from town-centre and play ground. Taxis are always available and a bus passes by the hotels which goes to Antalya city centre.
Nevertheless, the municipality will organize shuttle buses continuously available to delegations. They will be scheduled based on the conduct of the parties with leaders belonging to the organizing committee.
LAND:
They will be built on a huge place nearby the city center and just 5 minutes from the public beach of Kemer. They could be plotted on the paved, but the choice was made to install on the gravel.
It will be very easy to access and park there, but the place does not shaded. As it is an open field, the athletes should dress according to open area conditions.
Except for the final world championship shooting will benefit from the lighting required, all parties will be held during the day. The land for the shooting events will be independent of others thereby avoiding dismantling and assembling kits.
MISCELLANEOUS:
- The currency is the Turkish Lira. 1 is almost 2,5 Turkish Liras. Euro is also often accepted.
- In Turkey you drive on the right
- At the time the world championships the temperature is usually around 25 degrees and dry climate.
- The most widely spoken language in Kemer after Turkish is the Russian, as in people in the audience. The German is a little more practiced than English and other languages are not very common.
IMPORTANT: This has had less than three months to prepare these two world championships. So it is probable that there may be slight problems during the organizations. If delegations have problems, they would talk to members of the Executive Committee present, and to avoid directly attacking the organization members.
